Representative Andrew Falk, Chair, called the thirty-seventh meeting to order at 3:07 p.m. on March 3, 2010 in the Basement hearing room of the State office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Rep. Persell moved approval of the minutes of March 1, 2010. The motion prevailed. The minutes were adopted.

HF3125 (Hilty) Route permits for high-voltage transmission lines granting regulated.

Rep. Hilty moved that HF3125 as amended be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register

(Note: The H3125DE1 Amendment was adopted as amended at the March 1 meeting.)

Rep. Hilty moved the H3125A2 Amendment

Rep. Hilty renewed his motion that HF3125 be recommended to pass as amended and be placed on the General Register. The motion prevailed. The bill was passed as amended and placed on the General Register.

3:11 p.m.

HF3009 (Hilty) Utility report filings, hydrogen energy projects, weatherization programs, public utility commission assessments, and utility metering for supportive housing made technical changes; individuals and entities authorized to take certain easements in agricultural land.

Rep. Hilty moved that HF3009 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Rep. Hilty moved to delete Section 7. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Rep. Hilty renewed his motion that HF3009 be recommended to pass as amended and be placed on the General Register. The motion prevailed. The bill was passed as amended and placed on the General Register.

Rep. Hilty assumed the gavel.

HF2019 (Falk) Wind energy conversion systems capacity over which counties have authority to issue site permits increased.

Rep. Falk moved that HF2019 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register

Rep. Falk moved the H2019DE1 Amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Rep. Falk explained the bill and stood for questions.
