Representative Loren Solberg, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 10:20 PM, on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in Room 200 of the State Office Building

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hamilton moved to adopt the minutes of May 3, 2010 as presented.
THE MOTION PREVAILED

Agenda:
HF3729 (Lenczewski) Taxation; technical, policy, administrative, enforcement, and clarifying changes made to individual income, corporate franchise, estate, sales and use, lodging, gross receipts, cigarette, tobacco, insurance, property, credits, payments, minerals, petroleum, local taxes, local government aid, job opportunity building zones, emergency debt certificates, and various other tax-related provisions.

Representative Lenczewski moved that HF3729 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.

Representative Lenczewski explained HF3729.

Representative Mahoney moved to amend HF3729 as follows: See H3729A8.

Joel Michel, House Research explained the amendment as proposed.

Representative Faust renewed Representative Mahoney’s motion to amend HF3729 as follows: H3729A8.
THE MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Lenczewski renewed her motion that HF3729, as amended pass and be placed on the General Register.
THE MOTION PREVAILED

The Committee adjourned at 11:05 PM
