Representative Bill Hilty, Chair, called the second meeting to order at 2:16 PM on January 17, 2007 in Room 200 of the State office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Bly moved that the minutes of January 10, 2007 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

2:16 PM - Burl Haar, Executive Secretary, presented an overview of the Public Utilities Commission (PUC).

2:25 PM - Ken Wolf, PUC Reliability Administrator, presented the 2006 Wind Integration Study.

3:14 PM - Ed Garvey, Deputy Commissioner of Commerce for Energy and Telecommunications, presented an overview of electric utility generation and transmission. Marya White, a manager at the Department of Commerce, assisted with the presentation.

3:34 PM - Terry Grove, Co-Executive Director of CapX Initiative, presented an overview of the CapX Initiative.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:58 PM.
