MINUTES
Representative Ron Erhardt, Chairman of the Transportation Policy Committee, called the Thirteenth meeting to order at 2:35 PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Fritz moved approval of the minutes: March 2, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. Gazelka moved approval of HF1164(Gazelka) Passing of a parked emergency vehicle provisions modified to include requirement to slow down and when possible to provide one full lane of separation; and recommended it be placed on the General Register.
Rep. Gazelka moved adoption of the A05-0162 amendment to HF1164. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. Gazelka presented HF1164 as amended.
Presenting testimony on HF1164 as amended was:
- Captain Brian Erickson, MN State Patrol
- Trooper Curt Mowers, MN State Patrol
Rep. Gazelka renewed his motion to approve HF1164 as amended and that it be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. Nelson P. moved approval of HF1401(Nelson, P.) Commercial motor vehicle definition federal conformity provided; and recommended it be laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Omnibus bill.
Rep. Nelson moved the H1401DE1 amendment to HF1401. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. Nelson presented HF1401 as amended.
Presenting testimony on HF1401 was:

Rep. Nelson renewed his motion to approve HF1401 as amended and that it be laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Metropolitan Airports Commission presentation was made by:

- Nigel Finney, Metropolitan Airports Commission
- Jeff Hamiel, Metropolitan Airports Commission
