MINUTES


Representative Ron Erhardt, Chairman of the Transportation Policy Committee, called the Tenth meeting to order at 2:35 PM on Wednesday, February 23, 2005, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Cybart moved approval of the minutes: February 16, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Holberg moved approval of HF923(Holberg) modifying provisions relating to property transactions of Department of Transportation; changing and removing highway routes; making clarifying changes and recommended it re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law.

Rep. Holberg moved adoption of the H0923A1 amendment to HF923. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Holberg presented HF923 as amended.

Presenting testimony on HF923 was:

- Betsy Parker, MnDOT

Rep. Holberg renewed her motion to approve HF923 as amended and re-refer it to the Committee on Civil Law. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Erhardt moved adoption of HF915(Beard) modifying provisions relating to aeronautics; making clarifying changes.

Rep. Beard presented HF915.

Presenting testimony on HF915 was:

- Peter Buchen, Manager of Airport Development, Office of Aeronautices.

Rep. Erhardt renewed his motion to approve HF915(Beard) and re-refer it to the Committee on Local Government. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Presenting the Itasca Project testimony was:

- Charles Zelle, Jefferson Bus Lines
- Jay Cowles, Unity Avenue

The meeting was adjourned at 3:50 PM.
