Representative Joyce Peppin, Vice-Chair of the Committee on State Government Finance called the twenty-third meeting to order at 8:29 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.
Members present:

A quorum was present.



Representative Mullery moves HF2289 for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance Omnibus Bill.

Chair Peppin laid over HF2289 for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance Omnibus Bill.

Chair Peppin moved HF2299 for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance Omnibus Bill.

Chair Peppin laid over HF2299 for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance Omnibus Bill.

Chair Peppin moved HF1629 for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance Omnibus Bill.

Representative Mullery moved the following oral amendment:
Page 1, Line 17, Delete “and charge fees”.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Peppin moved the amendment labeled "H1629A1"
Representative Solberg moves the following oral amendment to the amendment
Page 1, after line 18, insert: "(c) The House of Representatives and the Senate may solicit paid advertising in legislative directories published by legislative staff."
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Peppin renewed her motion moving renewed her motion moving the amendment labeled "H1629A1", as amended.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Peppin laid over HF1629, as amended, for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance Omnibus Bill.

Chairman Seifert assumed the gavel at 9:43 a.m.

Chairman Seifert moved HF2243 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Ways and Means.
Chairman Seifert moved the amendment labeled “H2243A3”.
