Representative Bob Gunther, Chair of the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy & Finance Committee called the fifty-second meeting to order at 8:21 a.m., on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

HF3547(Severson) Central Minnesota science initiative project bonds issued and money appropriated.

Chair Gunther moved HF3547 to be before the committee.

Representative Sertich moved to recommend passage of HF3046 and be sent to the General Register. The motion prevailed and HF3046 was recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.


HF3058(Penas) Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board fund expenditure approval process clarified.

Representative Ruth moved HF3058 to be before the committee.

Representative Penas presented HF3058.

Representative Ruth moved Amendment A06-1175. The motion prevailed. Amendment A06-1175 was adopted.

9:53 AM Chair Gunther gave the gavel to Representative Wilkin to Chair the Committee
9:54 AM Chair Gunther resumed the Chair.

Representative Mahoney moved to table the bill. A vote was taken. Representative Mahoney called for a division. There were 5 in favor of the motion and 4 against the motion. The motion prevailed and HF3058 was laid on the table.



The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 AM.
