MINUTES


Representative Pat Garofalo, Vice Chair of the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy & Finance Committee, called the thirty-first meeting to order at 8:20 a.m., on Thursday, March 17, 2005, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.


H. F. 0955 (Seifert) Tobacco product nonuse and use cessation state health care program and MFIP eligibility requirements established.

Vice Chair Garofalo moved HF 0955 to be before the committee and recommended that HF0955 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Jobs and Economic Opportunity Policy and Finance Omnibus bill.

Representative Seifert presented HF 0955.

HF 0955 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Jobs and Economic Opportunity Policy and Finance Omnibus bill.

H. F. 0659 (Tingelstad) Adoption records access and services provided.

Representative Westerberg moved HF 0659 to be before the committee and recommended the passage of HF 0659 and be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law & Elections.

Representative Westerberg moved to adopt the H0659A3 Amendment. The motion prevailed and the H659A3 Amendment was adopted.

Representative Westerberg moved to adopt the A05-0243 Amendment. The motion prevailed and the A05-0243 Amendment was adopted.


Representative Tingelstad presented HF 0659.
