MINUTES


Representative Bob Gunther, Chair of the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy & Finance Committee, called the eighth meeting to order at 8:20 a.m., on Wednesday, January 26, 2005, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Mahoney moved HF 0293 to be before the committee and to be recommended for inclusion in the Capital Investment Omnibus Bill.

HF 0293 was laid over for recommendation for inclusion in the Capital Investment Omnibus bill.


Representative Mahoney moved HF 0301 to be before the committee and to be recommended for inclusion in the Capital Investment Omnibus Bill.

Representative Mahoney moved Amendment A1. The motion prevailed. Amendment A1 was adopted.

HF 0301 was laid over for recommendation for inclusion in the Capital Investment Omnibus bill.


Chair Gunther moved HF 0123 to be before the committee and to be recommended for inclusion in the Capital Investment Omnibus Bill.

Representative Magnus presented HF 0123.

HF 0123 was laid over for recommendation for inclusion in the Capital Investment Omnibus bill.


Representative Nelson moved HF 0098 to be before the committee and to be recommended for inclusion in the Capital Investment Omnibus Bill.

Representative Murphy presented HF 0098.

Representative Westerberg moved to approve the Minutes of January 25, 2005. The Motion Prevailed and the Minutes of January 25, 2005 were approved.


Representative Westerberg moved HF 0186 to be before the committee and to be recommended for inclusion in the Capital Investment Omnibus Bill.

Representative Blaine presented HF 0186.

Representative Westerberg moved HF 0338 to be before the committee and to be recommended for inclusion in the Capital Investment Omnibus Bill.

Representative Westerberg moved Amendment A05-0005, a delete everything amendment. The motion prevailed. The Delete Everything Amendment A05-0005 was adopted.

Representative Howes presented HF 0338.
