1.5    Section 1. SUSPENSION OF GOVERNOR'S SALARY DURING PERIOD OF
1.6EMERGENCY.
1.7Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the salary established by law for the governor
1.8does not apply, and must not be paid, during the remaining period of the peacetime
1.9emergency declared March 13, 2020, by Executive Order No. 20-01, beginning as of the
1.10effective date of this section. The governor's salary may be reinstated upon recision or
1.11termination of that order.
1.12EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment."
