Starting Line: A reminder that college isn't the only option post-high school

Many have heard it from their own parents: “Go to college and get a good education.”

Today’s high school students are provided plenty of information on post-secondary educational options, but it’s becoming less frequent to hear of students choosing to join the military or attend a trade school.

On this week’s Starting Line, we learn about HF118, a proposal from Rep. Bob Dettmer (R-Forest Lake) that aims to even the playing field between college, military and manufacturing career recruiters.
