Little more than a week remains before the end of the 90th Legislative Session and there’s still much to do if lawmakers are to successfully conclude some of the major pieces of legislation they’ve been working on the past few months.

The omnibus tax bill is in conference committee and so is the supplemental budget bill, which contains the omnibus health and human services, education, environment and agriculture omnibus bills, among others. Meanwhile, the $825 million bonding bill, with another $250 million in transportation funding tacked on, is scheduled to be taken up on the House Floor Monday.

The coming days should be busy.

But before looking too far ahead, let’s look back at what you may have missed this week.
