Starting Line: Federal immigration enforcement policy prompts proposal

The reports of federal immigration enforcement that have circulated nationally have caused uneasiness for some across the state. Rep. Frank Hornstein (DFL-Mpls) has felt that concern and it prompted him to propose a bill that would restrict state and local officials from cooperating with federal immigration enforcement efforts.

This week on Starting Line, we talk to Rep. Hornstein about HF3149 and learn why he feels this is an important issue, both locally and nationally.
