WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
Representative Liz Olson, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order at 9:05 A.M. on, Monday, April 17, 2023, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Vice Chair Edelson moved that the minutes of April 13, 2023, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF24 (Jordan) Safe drinking water authority modified, drinking water revolving fund provisions modified, grant program established to replace lead drinking water service lines, report required, and money appropriated.
Chair Olson moved that HF 24 be re-referred to the General Register.
Representative Jordan presented HF 24.

Chair Olson renewed the motion that HF 24 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
SF1955 (Vang) Omnibus agriculture finance and policy bill.
Chair Olson moved that SF 1955 be re-referred to the General Register.
Chair Olson moved to delete everything after the enacting clause and insert the language from HF 2278, the first engrossment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Olson moved the A16 amendment to SF 1955 as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Vang presented SF 1955 as amended.

Chair Olson renewed the motion that SF 1955, as amended, be re-referred to the General Register, and that nonpartisan staff be directed to make any necessary technical changes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF100 (Stephenson) Omnibus cannabis bill.
Chair Olson moved that HF 100 be re-referred to the General Register.
Chair Olson moved the A90 amendment to HF 100. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Olson moved the A89 amendment to HF 100. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Stephenson presented HF 100 as amended.
Chair Olson renewed the motion that HF 100 as amended be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
