MINUTES

Representative Frank Hornstein, Chair of the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 08:30 A.M., on March 3, 2023, in Room 120 of the State Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Petersburg moved the minutes of March 2, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF409 (Koegel) Minneapolis to Duluth inter-city passenger rail funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Hornstein moved that HF409 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Transportation Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Chair Hornstein moved the A4 amendment to HF409. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Koegel presented HF409, as amended.

Chair Hornstein renewed the motion that HF409, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Transportation Finance and Policy omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

Chair Hornstein adjourned the meeting at 10:03 AM.
