TAXES MINUTES

Representative Aisha Gomez, Chair of the Committee on Taxes, called the meeting to order at 1:00 PM on January 17, 2023 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Vice Chair Norris motioned to move the minutes of January 11th, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Presentation from Minnesota Department of Revenue staff on Minnesota Department of Revenue overview.
HF 231 (Davids) A bill for an act relating to taxation; establishing a taxpayer receipt; appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 289A.08, by adding a subdivision; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 16A.
Representative Davids moves that HF 231 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill.

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF 231 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Tax Bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:03 PM.
