Representative Ginny Klevorn, Chair of the State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:31 A.M. on Thursday, March 9, 2023, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Huot moved to approve the minutes from March 7, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1695 (Nelson, M.); Service Employees International Union (SEIU) healthcare agreement ratified.
Chair Klevorn moved that HF1695 be re-referred to the Human Services Finance Committee.

Representative Nelson presented HF1695.

Testifying on the bill:

Chair Klevorn renewed the motion that HF1695 be re-referred to the Human Services Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2099 (Richardson); Task Force on Pregnancy Health and Substance Use Disorders established, reports required, and money appropriated.
Chair Klevorn moved that HF2099 be re-referred to the Health Finance and Policy Committee.

Chair Klevorn moved the H2099A23-0057 amendment.

Chair Klevorn moved an oral amendment to H2099A23-0057, as below:
• Page 1, line 1.8, delete "Cultural and Ethnic Communities Leadership Council" and insert "Minnesota Indian Affairs Council."
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED.

Chair Klevorn renewed the motion to adopt the H2099A23-0057 amendment as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Richardson presented HF2099 as amended.

Representative Joy moved the H2099A1 amendment.

Representative Joy withdrew the H2099A1 amendment.

Chair Klevorn moved that HF782 be re-referred to the Judiciary and Civil Law Committee.

Chair Klevorn moved the H0782-DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Becker-Finn presented HF782 as amended.

Representative Harder moved the H0782A1 amendment.

Representative Harder requested a roll call on H0782A1.
