STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Ginny Klevorn, Chair of the State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. on January 17, 2023, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice-Chair Huot moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on January 12, 2023 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 29 (Huot); A bill relating to public safety; appropriating money to the Office of the Attorney General to provide legal services for violent crimes and financial exploitation.

Vice-Chair Huot moved that HF 29 be re-referred to the Ways & Means Committee.

Vice-Chair Huot presented HF 29.

Vice-Chair Huot moved the H0029DE2 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The following testified on H0029DE2 Amendment:

Representative Nash moved the H0029A2 Amendment.

Representative Nash requested a roll call vote.

Chair Klevorn moved that HF 48 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Richardson presented HF 48.
