Rules and Legislative Administration Committee Minutes

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, called the meeting to order at 11:19 am on May 4, 2023 in Capitol Room 120.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Hollins moved the Minutes from April 28, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Monday, May 8, 2023 for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day and has established a pre-filing requirement for amendments offered to those bills.

Representative O’Neill moved to remove H402 from the Calendar for the Day. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.

Chair Long moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Tuesday, May 2, 2023 for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day and has established a pre-filing requirement for amendments offered to those bills. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved to approve 023-R17 Resolution on Facilities.

Chair Long moved to approve 2023-R19 Resolution on Parking.
