HIGHER EDUCATION FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 AM on March 21st, 2024, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Davids moved that the minutes from March 19th, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4024 (Pelowski) Higher Education Policy Bill.

Representative Pelowski moved that HF 4024 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Pelowski moved the H4024DE2 amendment to HF 4024.

Representative Pelowski moved the H4024A2 amendment to the H4024DE2 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Rarick moved that the H4024A3 to the H4024DE2 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Pelowski renewed the motion that the H4024DE2 amendment, as amended, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Pelowski renewed the motion that HF 4024, as amended, be placed on the General Register.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 AM.
