HIGHER EDUCATION FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 AM on March 19th, 2024, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The clerk noted the roll.

Representative Davids moved that the minutes from March 12th, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1630 (Pelowski) One-third user financing requirement eliminated for future capital improvement projects at public postsecondary institutions.

Representative Pelowski brought HF 1630 as amended before the committee.

Representative Pelowski moved that HF 1630 as amended be re-referred to the Capital Investment Committee.

Representative Pelowski renewed the motion that HF 1630 as amended be re-referred to the Capital Investment Committee.

Representative Rarick requested a roll call vote on the motion to re-refer HF1630 as amended.
