MINUTES

Representative Paul Marquart, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual Tax Committee meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lislegard moved the approval of the February 17, 2022 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2890 (Bahner) Shuttered Venue Operators grant program conforming to federal tax
rules provided.

Representative Moran moved that HF 2890 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Bahner presented her bill.

Representative Urdahl presented his bill.

Representative Davids moved that HF 2793 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF 2793 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Vice Chair Lislegard assumed the gavel at 1:27 P.M.

HF 3316 (Robbins) Research credit modified.

Representative Robbins moved HF 3316 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Robbins moved the H3316A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Robbins presented the bill.
