FINANCE & POLICY MINUTES

Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Committee on Industrial Education and Economic Development Finance and Policy, called the virtual meeting to order at 8:30 AM on February 10, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Sandell moved that the minutes of February 3, 2021, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Presentation on the Construction Careers Foundation.

• Dr. Daniel Kirk, Dean of the School of Education, Winona State University

Chair Pelowski moved that HF 38 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Pelowski presented HF 38, a bill for an act relating to public safety; appropriating money for the disaster assistance contingency account.

Chair Pelowski renewed the motion that HF 38 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

The clerk took the roll on HF 38.
