Representative Rob Ecklund, Chair of the Committee on Labor, Industry, Veterans and Military Affairs Finance & Policy, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30 AM on March 19, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Berg moved that the minutes from March 17, 2021 be adopted. Motion prevailed.


HF 1085 (Stephenson) Municipalities required to base construction permit fees on cost per square foot.

The Chair moved that HF 1085 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

The Chair moved the DE1 amendment. Motion prevailed.

Representative Stephenson presented the bill as amended.

The Chair moved that HF 1042 be referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance and Policy.

The Chair moved the A1 amendment. Motion prevailed.

The Chair moved that HF 1402 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
