MINUTES

Representative Jennifer Schultz, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 am on February 17, 2022, remotely via Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.


The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Albright moved that the minutes from February 16, 2022, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

• Jamie Sorenson, Director, Child Safety and Permanency Division
• Tara Borton, Staff Attorney, Child Support Division

HF3269 (Hanson, J.) State and local welfare agency data disseminated expanded for monitoring eligibility of data subject for public assistance programs.
Rep. Hanson moved to rerefer HF3269 to Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee as recommended.
Rep. Hanson renewed her motion to rerefer HF3269 to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee as recommended.
Chair Schultz stated a roll call vote would be taken. The results were as follows:

HF3259 (Hanson, J.) Counties and Tribes allowed to contact MFIP participants by phone or in writing upon receipt of incomplete household report form, and public assistance program income calculation modified.

Chair Schultz laid HF3259 over for possible inclusion in the Human Services Finance Omnibus bill.
