MINUTES

Representative Jennifer Schultz, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 am on March 26th, 2021 remotely via Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.


The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Fischer moved that the minutes from March 25th, 2021 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF41 (Frazier) COVID-19; emergency paid sick leave provided to health care employees excluded from Families First Coronavirus Response Act.

Chair Schultz moved to rerefer HF41 to the Ways and Means Committee as recommended.
Chair Schultz moved the A5 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Schultz moved that HF1532 be placed on the General Register as recommended.

Chair Schultz moved to reconsider the A4 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Schultz moved to amend the A4 Amendment with the A5 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Schultz moved to amend HF1532 with the newly amended A4 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Schultz renewed her motion that HF1532, as amended, be placed on the General Register as recommended.

Rep. Noor moved that HF1340 be placed on the General Register as recommended.

Rep. Noor moved the A3 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Schultz laid HF2153 over for possible inclusion in a budget omnibus.

HF1159 (Acomb) Temporary personal care assistance compensation extended for services provided by a parent or spouse.

Chair Schultz moved to rerefer HF1159 as recommended to the Ways and Means committee.

Chair Schultz moved the DE1 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Schultz renewed her motion to rerefer HF1159, as amended, to the Ways and Means Committee as recommended.
