MINUTES

Representative Sandstede, Vice-Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30am on March 17, 2022, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcasted via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Marquart moved that the minutes from March 16, 2022, be approved. Motion prevailed.

HF 4300 (Rep. Davnie) - Governor’s supplemental education budget proposal.

Chair Davnie moved that HF 4300 be presented before the committee; be laid over for further consideration and possible inclusion in a future omnibus bill.

Chair Davnie presented HF 4300.

Presentation on the 2022 Supplemental Budget Plan from the Minnesota Department of Education.

Chair Davnie renewed the motion to lay over HF 4300 for possible inclusion or for further consideration at a later date.
