HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NINETY-SECOND SESSION

COMMERCE FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

Representative Zack Stephenson, Chair of the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 3:00 PM on March 16th, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

Representative Davnie moved to approve the minutes from the committee meeting on March 15th, 2022. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Testimony from AG Keith Ellison and MFU President Gary Wertish on anti-trust legislation.

HF 4143 (Elkins); Monopoly and monopsony power regulated.

Representative Elkins moved that HF4143 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Elkins moved the HF4143DE2 (Elkins) amendment. THE MOTION
PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
