MINUTES

Representative Nelson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:00 AM, January 15, 2019 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Nelson informed members of the Committee Rules and copies were provided to members.

Introduction of members and staff.

Myron Frans, Commissioner, Dr. Laura Kalambokidis, Minnesota’s State Economist, and Britta Reitan, State Budget Director, presented a Budget and Economic Forecast.

Matt Gehring, Research Department, presented a Memorandum on the Agencies Within the Division’s Jurisdiction.

Helen Roberts, Fiscal Analyst, presented an overview of State Government Finance expenditures.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:39 AM.
