CORRECTIONS DIVISION
MINUTES
Representative Considine, Chair of the Corrections Division, called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M. on March 8th, 2019, in Room G3 of the State Capitol.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Mariani assumed chair at 9:01.
HF 2010 (Considine) Local correctional officer discipline procedures act established.
Chair Considine presented HF 2010.
A quorum was present at 9:05.
Chair moved to lay over HF 2010 for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill, with an acknowledgement that there is an author’s amendment that was heard and will be formally brought forth next meeting.

HF 1948 (Considine) Correctional officers and inmates in state correctional facilities mental health pilot program established, report required, and money appropriated.
Chair Considine presented HF 1948.
Chair Considine moved to adopt amendment HF1948DE1. Amendment was adopted.
Chair Considine moved to lay over HF1948, as amended, for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Rep. Christensen moved that the minutes from the meeting on March 6th, 2019 be adopted. MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. Considine assumed chair at 9:39 AM.
HF 2128 (Mariani) Indeterminate Sentence Release Board established, and report required.
Rep. Mariani presented HF 2128.
Chair Considine moved to lay over HF 2128 for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
