COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division, called the meeting to order at 9:47 AM on Thursday, March 12, 2020 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Cantrell moved to approve the minutes from March 11, 2020. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3603 (Moller): Uniform Canadian Domestic Violence reciprocity act.

Representative Moller moved that HF 3603 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Moller moved to adopt the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Moller presented HF 3603 to the committee.

HF 4100 (Mahoney): A bill for an act relating to human rights; prohibiting employers from inquiring about past pay;

Chair Lesch moved that HF 4100 be recommended to be re-referred to the Jobs and Economic Development Finance Division.

Representative Mahoney presented HF 4100 to the committee.

Representative Considine moved to adopt the A5 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Liebling moved to reconsider A4 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Liebling withdrew the A4 amendment.

Representative Liebling moved to adopt the A7 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Liebling moved that HF 4327, as amended, be recommended to be re-referred to the HHS Finance Division.
