Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:49 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 9:49 a.m. A quorum was present.

Representative Bahr moved the minutes from March 6, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 331 (Edelson) Tobacco; charter schools added to prohibition of tobacco in schools, tobacco sale age increased, administrative penalties increased, and alternative penalties allowed.

Representative Moller moved HF 331 be re-referred to the Ways and Means committee.

Representative Noor moved the A-11 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Edelman presented HF 331 to the committee.

Representative Lesch moved HF 203 be re-referred to the Taxes Committee.

Representative O’Neill presented HF 203 to the committee.
