MINUTES


Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:45am on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 9:45 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Considine moved the minutes from January 30, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Civil Legal Services overview began.

HF XXXX (Lesch) a bill relating to public safety; enabling the reporting of information related to the use of electronic device location tracking warrants.

Representative Lesch presented HF XXXX to the committee for informational purposes.

Testifiers:
Ben Feist, legislative Director, ACLU Minnesota

HF XXXX was laid over to be voted on at a later date.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:48am.
