Representative Bernardy, Chair of the Higher Education Finance & Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 2:35 P.M. on January 30, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Wolgamott moved that the minutes of January 29, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The Minnesota Council on Latino Affairs gave a presentation of the organization and current challenges facing students.

The University of Minnesoa gave a presentation of effects of the federal government shutdown on the University.
