MINUTES

Representative Jean Wagenius, Chair of the Energy and Climate Finance & Policy Division, called the first meeting to order at 9:46 A.M. on, January 15, 2019, in room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present at 9:46 A.M.

Dr. Mark Seeley, University of Minnesota Department of Soil, Water & Climate, introduced the testifiers.

Dr. Tracy Twine, University of Minnesota Department of Soil, Water & Climate, presented on how and what we do know about climate change and on what impacts can we predict in Minnesota.

Dr. Peter Reich, University of Minnesota Department of Forest Resources, presented to the committee on how climate change and land use will impact the varying regions and biomes in Minnesota.

The meeting adjourned at 11:11 A.M.
