MINUTES

Representative Ecklund, member of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 12:47 P.M. on March 12th, 2020, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Ecklund called the meeting to order at 12:47 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Sundin moved to approve the minutes of March 10th, 2020. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4180 (Hansen) Dry cleaner fees modified, and report to legislature modified.

Chair Hansen moved that HF4180 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Hansen moved to adopt the DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Hansen renewed the motion that HF4180 as amended be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4311 (Hansen) Department of Agriculture, Pollution Control Agency, Board of Water and Soil Resources, Department of Health, Metropolitan Council, and University of Minnesota funding provided from clean water fund, and money appropriated.

Chair Hansen moved that HF4311 be recommended to be re-referred to the Legacy Finance Division.

Chair Hansen renewed the motion that HF4311 be recommended to be re-referred to the Legacy Finance Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Hansen assumed the gavel at 1:20 P.M.

HF2823 (Huot) Rosemount; wastewater infrastructure funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Hansen moved that HF2823 be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Hansen moved to adopt the DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Hansen renewed the motion that HF2823 as amended be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3982 (Vang) Climate change; financial assistance grant program established, and money appropriated.

Representative Becker-Finn moved that HF3982 be recommended to be re-referred to the Energy and Climate Finance and Policy Division.
