MINUTES

Representative Jeanne Poppe, member of the Division, called the meeting to order at 9:45 AM on March 3rd, 2020, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Brand moved the minutes from February 27th, 2020.

The motion prevailed.

Presentation from Future Farmers of America Officers:
• Nic Potthoff, State Vice-President, Martin County West FFA
• Savannah Aanerud, State Sentinel, Morris FFA

Representative Brand moved that HF 3767 be recommended to be rereferred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative Brand moved the H3767A1 amendment to HF 3767.

The motion prevailed.

Testimony provided by:

• Brian Carlson, Minnesota Federation of County Fairs

Representative Brand renewed his motion that HF 3767 as amended be recommended to be rereferred to the Committee on Taxes.

The motion prevailed.

Representative Brand assumed the gavel at 10:01AM

Representative Poppe moved that HF 3799 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Representative Poppe renewed her motion that HF 3799 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture presented the Bioincentives Report and Annual Biodiesel Report

Representative Brand assumed the gavel at 10:22AM.

Representative Poppe moved that HF 3699 be recommended to be rereferred to the Committee on Commerce.
