MINUTES

Representative Paul Marquart, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:00 A.M. on, Thursday, April 4, 2019, in Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Marquart officially called the meeting to order at 8:01 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Lislegard moved that the minutes of April 3, 2019 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 578 (Lien) K-12 education expense credit modified

Representative Lien moved HF 578 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Lien moved the H0578A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lien renewed his motion that HF 578, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF 844 (Lislegard) Credit against occupation tax provided

Representative Lislegard moved HF 844 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 844 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF 2763 (Hansen) Solid waste management tax rates increased and part of tax increase collected appropriated to soil and water conservation grants.

Representative Becker-Finn moved HF 2763 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Fabian moved to amend the motion as follows:

HF 2763 be referred to Ways and Means Committee with the recommendation to re-refer to the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division.

Representative Fabian requested a roll call vote.

The Committee Legislative Assistant took the roll call vote.

Representative Youakim moved HF 2809 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF 1851 (Davids) Licensed petroleum distributor requirements to furnish bonds for payment removed, and delinquent tax debt personal liability expanded

Representative Davids moved HF 1851 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Davids moved the H1851A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
