MINUTES

Representative Moran, Chair of the Health and Human Services Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:49 PM on Monday, February 11, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Schultz moved HF267 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Rep. Schultz presented the bill.

House Research Analyst, Danyell Punelli, presented an overview of the elderly waiver language recodification and technical corrections.

Chair Moran laid over HF267 until a quorum could be present.


Chair Moran moved HF258 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Alex Bartoloic, Disability Services Division Director, Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), and Colin Stemper, Fiscal Policy Supervisor, DHS, presented an overview of the Disability Waiver Rate System (DWRS).

A quorum was present at 2:11 PM.

Rep. Freiberg moved to adopt the minutes from February 5, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Bahner moved to adopt the minutes from February 6, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Pinto moved the DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
