Representative Mike Freiberg, Chair of the Government Operations, called the twentieth meeting to order at 9:52am on March 14, 2019, in the basement hearing room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Freiberg moves to adopt amendment A19-0217 with the following technical change: in line 1.3 replace “…” with “8” and in line 1.4 replace “…” with “42”. MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Sauke, Vice Chair of the Government Operations Committee, assumes the gavel and role of Chair at 11:39am.

SCEh1855-1 HF1855 (Schultz) Redistricting commission adoption of congressional and legislative district boundaries following federal census established, and constitutional amendment proposed. SCEH1603-1 Subcommittee Engrossment HF1603 (Dehn) Mail balloting authorized in any town or city with fewer than 400 registered voters. PLEASE NOTE: Testimony will be limited. Please plan accordingly.
