MINUTES

Representative Laurie Halverson, Chair of the Commerce Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:32 PM on March 27th, 2019, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative O’Driscoll moved to approve the minutes from the committee meeting on March 26th, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF990 (Sundin)
Residential mortgage originators licensing requirements exemption added, and conformity with federal truth in lending requirements provided.

Representative Halverson moved HF990 be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Halverson moved HF990DE1 (Sundin) amendment.

Representative Sundin offered an oral amendment to HF990DE1.
Page two, line 10, insert “an affiliation with” after “if.”

Representative Halverson renewed her motion to adopt the HF990DE1 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMEDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.

The following testified on HF990, as amended:
Mark Brunner, Minnesota Multi Housing Association

Representative Halverson renewed the motion to refer HF990, as amended, to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:46 PM.
