MINUTES

Representative Laurie Halverson, Chair of the Commerce Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:05AM on March 15th, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF2154 (Lien)
Gambling Control Board regulatory provisions modified; and clarifying, conforming, and technical changes made.

Representative Halverson moved HF2154 to be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1571 (Howard)
Manufactured home parks closure or modification procedures modified.

Representative Howard moved HF1571 to be referred to the General Register.

Representative Halverson laid over HF1571.

HF2051 (Elkins)
Insurance; conforming changes to model regulations made.

Representative Elkins moved HF2051 be referred to the General Register.

Representative Elkins moved the A19-0202 (Elkins) amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Elkins made an oral amendment to the H2051A1 (Elkins) amendment as followed:
“amend the delete everything amendment (A19-0202) to H.F. No. 2051 as follows”.

Representative Elkins moved the oral amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Elkins renewed the motion to move HF2051, as amended, to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Elkins renewed the motion HF2051, as amended, to be referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1960 (Richardson)
Department of Commerce provisions technical changes made.

Representative Richardson moved HF1960 to be referred to the General Register.

Representative Richardson renewed the motion to move HF1960 to be referred the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1571 (Howard)

Representative Howard moved HF1571 to the General Register and moved the H1571A4 (Howard) amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Howard renewed the motion to move HF1571 to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn moved to approve the minutes of March 13th, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:09AM.
