MINUTES
Representative Runbeck, Chair of the Transportation and Regional Governance Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on March 7, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Runbeck called the meeting to order at 1:05 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Petersburg moved the minutes from March 5th. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2908 (Wills)

Chair Runbeck moved that HF2908 be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance.

Representative Wills presented HF2908.

Chair Runbeck renewed the motion that HF2908 be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2739 (Hertaus)

Representative Hertaus moves that HF2739 be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance.

Representative Hertaus presented HF2739.
Michael Risvold, Chief of Police, City of Wayzata, testified in favor of HF2739.
Ken Willcox, Mayor, City of Wayzata, testified in favor of HF2739.

HF2857 (Johnson, B.)

Chair Runbeck moved that HF2857 be re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety Policy and Finance.

Lieutenant Brian Reu, Minnesota State Troopers, testified in opposition to HF2857.
