MINUTES

Representative Runbeck, Chair of the Transportation and Regional Governance Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on March 3rd, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Runbeck called the meeting to order at 1:02 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Petersburg moved the minutes of March 1st, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1180 (Uglem) Hands free cell phone use while driving mandated.

Chair Runbeck moved that HF1180 be re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance.

HF1160 (Runbeck) Transit financial activity auditing and reporting required, and money appropriated.

Chair Runbeck moved that HF1160 be re-referred as amended to the Committee on State Government Finance.

HF1821 (Petersburg) Return information disclosure to the Transportation Department allowed, and presumptions for the motor vehicles sales tax modified.

Representative Petersburg moved that HF1821 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.
