MINUTES

Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, began the meeting at 10:15 AM, on February 22, 2017, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids officially called the meeting to order at 10:19 AM. A quorum was present.

HF893 (Davids) Tax reductions for low and middle income families provided; corporate tax loopholes closed; local government unit aid provided; income, property, tobacco, sales and use, special taxes, and other tax provisions modified; and money appropriated.

Representative Davids moved HF893 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Davids moved the H893A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Davids moved the H893A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Schultz moved the minutes from February 21, 2017 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
