MINUTES
Representative O’Driscoll, Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Policy, began the meeting at 8:15AM on April 4th, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair O’Driscoll called the meeting to order at 8:15AM. A quorum was present.
Representative Youakim moved to approve the minutes of March 30th. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2290 (Jim Knoblach) Sherburne County; manner of compensation for examiner and deputy examiner of titles modified.
Chair O’Driscoll moved that HF2290 come before the committee and be referred to the General Register.
Representative Knoblach testified regarding HF2290.
Chair O’Driscoll moved the HF2290A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
The following testified regarding HF2290:
Gene Ranieri, Director of Government Relations, City of Minneapolis,
Kirk Peterson, Attorney, Hennepin County and Minneapolis Park Board.
Chair O’Driscoll renewed the motion that HF2290, as amended, be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
