ETHICS COMMITTEE 2017-2018
MINUTES
Representative Sondra Erickson, Chair of the Ethics Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:18 PM on January 30, 2017, in the Room 400S of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Members excused:

Patrick McCormack, Director of House Research, gave an overview of House rules 6.10 on ethics, constitutional framework of committee, and procedure.
Ben Weeks, Mary Mullins, and Matt Gehrig, House Legal Counsel, introduced themselves.
Representative Erickson moved the written procedures on House Rule 6.1.
Representative Dehn seconded the motion.
THE MOTION PREVAILED, and the rules on procedures was adopted.
Representative Erickson posed a question on amending rules on social media for the code of conduct policy. No action was taken.
The meeting adjourned at 12:41pm.
