Representative Fabian, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM on February 27, 2018, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Metsa moved the approval of the March 24, 2017 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chris Buse, Deputy Legislative Auditor, Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA), gave a presentation on OLA Professional/Technical Contract Expenditures Internal Controls and Compliance Audit.
Testifying on the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) response to the audit were:

Reena Solheid, MPCA, Operations Division Director
Representative Heintzeman assumed the gavel at 9:11 AM.

Rodmen Smith, Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Enforcement Division Director, Larina DeWalt, KLJ Engineering and Nicole Wallenta, KLJ Engineering presented the DNR Site Investigation for World-Class Shooting Range Site Report.
Ann Pierce, DNR Ecosystem Section Manager and Jeff Gunderson, Consultant, presented the DNR Minnow Importation Risk Report.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:02 AM.
