MINUTES

Representative Fabian, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, started the meeting at 8:15 AM on March 7th, 2017, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Fabian called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM. A quorum was present.

Representative Newberger moved to adopt the minutes of March 2nd, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1863 (Dettmer) Wetland replacement requirements modified.

Representative Fabian moved HF 1863 to be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

Representative Fabian renewed the motion that HF 1863 be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

HF 2028 (Fischer) Storm water use exempted from water-use permit requirements.

Representative Fischer moved HF 2028 to be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

Representative Fabian moved the H2028A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF 1731 (Torkelson) Clean water funds appropriated.

Representative Torkelson moved HF 1731 to be re-referred to the Committee on Legacy Funding Finance.

Representative Torkelson moved the H1731A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hansen moved the H1731A4 amendment to the amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hansen renewed his motion to adopt the H1731DE1 amendment as amended and requested a roll call vote. The results are as follows:

Representative Hansen moved the H1731A3 amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Torkelson renewed the motion that HF 1731 as amended be re-referred to the Committee on Legacy Funding and Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1368 (Swedzinski) Petroleum Tank Release Cleanup Act modified.

Representative Swedzinski moved HF 1368 to be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.
