MINUTES

Representative Fabian, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM on February 23rd, 2017, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Fabian called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM. A quorum was present.

Representative Hoppe moved to adopt the minutes of February 22nd, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 457 (Howe) Aquatic invasive species removal and prevention grant money availability extended.

Representative Fabian moved HF 457 to be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

Representative Fabian renewed the motion that HF 457 be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

HF 1106 (Fabian) License revenue dedication eliminated for wolf management and monitoring.

Representative Fabian moved HF 1106 to be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

Representative Fabian moved the H1106A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Fabian renewed the motion that HF 1106 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

HF 1387 (Newberger) Groundwater appropriation permit requirements modified, and well interference claim requirements modified.

Representative Newberger moved HF 1387 to be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.
